J. Thomas Bowen
J. Thomas Bowen has practiced law with Davis, Cowell & Bowe, LLP since 1973. During that time he has represented unions, individual workers and union employee benefit plans in lawsuits and actions before state and federal trial and appellate courts and administrative tribunals. He has litigated a wide range of claims including civil and criminal cases protecting and expanding the rights of unions and their members to engage in effective expressive activities during the course of labor disputes, ground-breaking workers' compensations claims for workers afflicted with cancer and other occupational conditions and diseases, defense of unions wrongfully accused of breach of their duty of fair representation and defining the proper scope of claims against employee benefit plans.
