Winifred Kao
Winnie practices in the areas of labor, employment, and civil rights law. Prior to joining DCB, she practiced at a union-side labor and employment law firm in Washington, DC, worked as a Trial Attorney in the Honors Program of the Civil Rights Division of the United States Department of Justice, and served on detail as a Special Assistant United States Attorney in the Domestic Violence Section of the United States Attorney's Office in Washington, DC. Winnie was also a judicial intern for Judge Gladys Kessler of the United States District Court in the District of Columbia, and has worked as an organizer for both labor and civil rights groups. While in law school, Winnie was a member of the Michigan Law Review.
